Welcome to Vintage Wildflower! Here is a bit about me…

My name is Tabatha Dalponte. I am currently spending a gap year in Brazil as a post-graduate Rotary Youth Exchange Student.

I created this blog to serve as a platform for me to share my ideas and personal experiences, while connecting with an engaged and close-knit audience. Here you will find posts divided into six different categories: food, school, grief, lifestyle, and travel.

I enjoy learning new things and I try to keep life simple. My preferred shoe style is a flip flop and my favorite color is pink. I spent most of elementary school drawing and actually got really good at it. I was very shy in my early teenage years but it is something I think I grew out of. I genuinely like other people. I graduated high school with honors and even got to be a student representative on The Board of Education. I spent the beginning of every summer and the end of every fall training as a long distance runner with my cross country team. I held a part-time job for two years as a paintball referee. I also worked at McDonald’s and at a restaurant bussing tables. Junior year was the worst year of my life, and everything has been uphill since then. I like to keep a journal and I treasure the quotes I saved on my Pinterest board. I usually have around eighty notes saved to my phone at a given time. I am that person that likes writing research papers.

Live your life. “Today is the oldest you have ever been and the youngest you will ever be” -Eleanor Roosevelt

I also enjoy reading and I feel like my music playlist is a pretty accurate representation of my life. I like to cook and to eat healthy, but I also love chocolate. My friends think I’m weird because I don’t drink much else other than water. I think we should live in the moment rather than saving our time and energy for the some day that is never going to come. I abandoned the idea of financial security. I want to travel the world and I am not too concerned with material possessions. I have a vivid image of how I want to live the rest of my life and I am pretty determined on achieving it. More than anything, at the end of the day, I just want to be happy. I love life and I want to share that with other people.

If you have any questions or if you’d like to get to know me more, feel free to send me an email at tabatha@wildflower.com. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you subscribe! Beijos.
